SMRTDOG CLASSES
SMRTDOG CLASSES
Smrtdog class sizes are kept small to ensure individualized attention.
Class size is generally 3-5 dogs.
DOG SPORTS
Dog sport classes are designed to provide a variety of activities for you and your dog. Whether you are new to dog sports or you are an avid competitor, our dog sport classes can help you and your dog shine.
All of the Dog Sport classes are 4 weeks for $125. We may refer out for some dog sporting events and those prices may vary per organization, instructor, or event.
We also include a list of local dog sporting events so that you may check out some fun canine functions before deciding to attend a class and/or get involved.
Class dates and times are subject to change. Class dates are consecutive weeks, unless otherwise indicated. Occasionally, weather or illness may require last minute cancellation of a class, in which case class dates will be extended by one week. Occasional teacher substitutions may occur. A minimum of 3 dogs/handlers are required for a class to run. When a class date needs to be rescheduled, your understanding is appreciated.

- Flat collar or front clip no-pull harness (such as Sense-ible Harness)
- A leather or nylon leash. No retractable leashes please.

- Your dog’s favorite treats, preferably something soft and in small pieces

IS A GROUP CLASS RIGHT FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG?
If a puppy (or dog) is in his socialization period (or adolescent period) and is showing signs of fear, failing to acclimate to the situation or becoming excessively reactive or disruptive, then the puppy (or dog) is not in an appropriate setting for learning. The puppy (or dog) may benefit from private training and/or behavior modification.
