TESTIMONIALS
The bottom line is Jamie knows animal behavior. She was excellent at connecting with our dog and a huge comfort to me. However, I knew nothing would help if I did not follow her instructions and practice. I am grateful to Jamie for teaching me how to keep our doberman,Rasha safe and me in control. In the end, I feel closer to my dog than before.

I have a standard poodle, a little over a year old. He's so smart, but pushy and I just wasn't doing very well getting him to do what I wanted him to. I was very impressed with Jamie's work. She took her time, first asking me questions about what I had been doing with him and what I wanted him to do. She spent some time watching me and my dog interact. Then she stepped in and in just a few minutes, showed me how to be more effective in my actions. She gave me concrete, simple things to do... and they really worked. I believe I needed more education than my dog. He picked up everything she wanted him to in a flash. I needed to adjust my thinking from the old patterns of dog training I remembered from my past. It turns out I just needed to practice about 5 minutes, twice a day with my dog to make a tremendous difference in his behavior. It's not old school dog training (with choke collars and scolding) and it's not domination/intimidation like the ‘Dog Whisperer.’ Jamie has an amazing amount of knowledge, patience and insight into dog and owner behavior. Her methods work. Plus she's fun and funny and sincerely loves dogs.

Buck is a 15 month old Laborador. Shortly after we started classes with Jamie, Buck was diagnosed with Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) which means if he gets over heated/excited he can collapse. Some dogs have died. So, here I have this wonderful, playful dog and I am scared to let him run! I told Jamie, she went on line and learned about EIC. She tailored the apparatus and routines for him. He has made great progress. He follows my lead and loves the sessions. He has gained control of his rear-end and is able to walk on ramps and crawl under small spaces. This was not possible last November! The best part, he has learned to control his excitability around other dogs. He and I have become partners.
